In this guide, we'll walk you through what to explore during your first 15 minutes, so you can get comfortable with the platform and know where to go next.

Step 1: Sign In and Explore Your Dashboard (Minutes 1–3)

Your first stop is the Encrisoft dashboard. Think of it as your starting point for understanding what's happening across your organisation.

  1. Sign in to your Encrisoft account.
  2. Once you're logged in, take a moment to look around the dashboard.
  3. Familiarise yourself with the information cards and navigation menu.

Depending on your organisation's activity and setup, your dashboard may display information such as:

  • AI Credits: An overview of the credits available for AI-powered course creation.
  • Training Completion: An indication of employee training progress.
  • Total Employees: An overview of the employees in your organisation.
  • Risk Score: An indication of your organisation's current cybersecurity risk level.
  • Setup Checklist: A guide to help you complete important account and organisation setup tasks.

Some figures may be empty or show limited activity when you're just starting out. That's perfectly normal! Certain insights become more meaningful as you configure your organisation and begin using the platform.

Tip: Don't worry about understanding every number immediately. For now, focus on knowing what's available and where to find it.

Step 2: Complete Your Setup Checklist (Minutes 3–6)

You don't have to complete every task within these first few minutes. Use the checklist to understand what's required and identify your next steps.

For example, domain verification helps establish that your organisation owns the domain you're registering. Adding employees allows you to begin managing your team and working towards organisation-wide security awareness.

Tip: Follow the checklist in the order presented in your account, as some tasks may depend on earlier setup steps or your organisation's subscription.

Step 3: Find Your Way Around Encrisoft (Minutes 6–9)

The sidebar provides access to the main areas of the platform. Here's what some of the key sections are used for:

  • People: Manage employees and organise your team.
  • Simulations: Create and manage phishing simulations to help assess and improve employee awareness.
  • Training: Access the platform's security training features.
  • Risk: Explore your organisation's risk information and breakdown.
  • Report: Locate reporting features available to your organisation.
  • Billing: Review subscription-related information and AI credit details.
  • Settings: Access available account and organisation settings.

Other sections may also appear in your sidebar, depending on your account and the features available to your organisation.

You don't need to click through every section right now. Simply familiarise yourself with the menu so you know where to return when you need a particular feature.

Tip: If you want to manage employees, start with People. If you're ready to explore phishing awareness exercises, head to Simulations.

Step 4: Explore Your Team and Training Features (Minutes 9–12)

Cybersecurity awareness starts with people, so take a moment to explore how Encrisoft helps you manage your team and support their learning.

Explore the People Section

Click People in the sidebar to find the employee management area.

This section helps you manage the people in your organisation on Encrisoft. Depending on your account setup, you may be able to view employee information, organise employees by department, and manage their assigned roles.

If your organisation is ready to onboard employees, you can explore the available options for adding team members.

Before doing so, check that any required domain verification or subscription setup has been completed.

Explore the Training Section

Next, click Training to familiarise yourself with the platform's training features.

Security awareness training helps employees recognise suspicious messages, understand common cyber threats, and make safer decisions at work.

Take a look at the options available to your organisation and familiarise yourself with where training activities can be accessed.

Tip: You don't need to launch a training activity immediately. Your goal for now is to understand where employee management and training fit into your organisation's security awareness programme

Step 5: Discover Phishing Simulations and Risk Insights (Minutes 12–15)

You've explored the dashboard, reviewed your setup tasks, and located the main features. Now, let's look at two important parts of Encrisoft: phishing simulations and risk insights.

Explore Simulations

Click Simulations in the sidebar.

Phishing simulations are controlled exercises that help organisations understand how employees respond to simulated phishing emails.

Encrisoft allows you to create and manage these campaigns, select an audience, configure the simulation, and review the results.

For your first visit, explore the simulations page and familiarise yourself with how campaigns are listed. You can learn how to create your first campaign when you're ready.

Explore Risk

Next, click Risk to see where your organisation's risk information is presented.

Risk insights can help you understand areas that may require further attention. As your organisation begins using Encrisoft and relevant activity is recorded, the available information can help guide your security awareness efforts.

Keep in mind that a risk score is an indicator to investigate, not a judgement of your employees. Its usefulness depends on the information available to the platform.

Tip: If your risk information looks limited at first, don't panic. Your organisation may need to complete setup tasks and begin using relevant features before more meaningful insights become available
