Before you begin

  • Your company domain name, such as yourcompany.com

    You’ll need this to add the domain to Encrisoft.

  • Access to your domain provider

    You’ll need access to the service where your company domain is managed so you can add the DNS record.

  • Access to your Encrisoft organisation email

    You’ll need this to receive and check the domain verification email from Encrisoft.

Verifying your company domain is one of the key steps to getting your organisation set up on Encrisoft. It confirms that your organisation controls the domain used for employee and member email addresses, so Encrisoft can recognise it as an approved company domain. Let’s get your domain verified and ready to go

1. Open your domain settings

Sign in to your Encrisoft account and go to Settings from the left-hand menu.

Select Domains from the settings options.

Under Organisation Domains, select Add Domain.

2. Enter your company domain

From the Domains page, tap the blue Add Domain button.

In the Domain name field, enter the domain your company uses for its email addresses.

For example, if your company email address is name@yourcompany.com, enter:

yourcompany.com

Encrisoft gives you two verification options:

  • DNS TXT
  • DNS CNAME

Select the verification method you want to use, then tap Continue.

3. Add the DNS record

After you select Continue, Encrisoft will show you the DNS information you need to verify your domain.

You’ll see details such as:

  • Type
  • Name / Host
  • Value
  • TTL

You need to add this information to your domain’s DNS settings.

DNS settings are the settings used to manage how your domain works. Your domain provider is the service where your company domain is managed.

Copy the DNS details provided by Encrisoft and add them to your domain provider’s DNS settings.

Important: The DNS details are unique to your organisation. Always use the information shown in your Encrisoft account.

4. Check your verification email

Encrisoft also sends a Verify your company domain email with the DNS record details.

Open the email and review the information provided. The email includes a Check Verification Status button that you can use to check whether your domain has been verified.

If you have not added the DNS record yet, add it to your domain provider's DNS settings before checking the status.

5. Check your domain status

After adding the DNS record, return to Encrisoft.

From Settings, open Domains and find your company domain.

Select Check DNS to allow Encrisoft to check the DNS record.

You can also use Check Verification Status from the verification email.

If the DNS record has been added correctly, Encrisoft will verify your domain.

Once verification is complete, your domain will appear as a verified company domain under Organisation Domains.

Your company domain is now verified

That's it. Your company domain is now connected to your Encrisoft organisation and can be used as an approved company domain for your employees and members.
