What are AI credits?

If you’ve come across AI credits in your Encrisoft Billing section and wondered, “Okay, but what exactly are these for?” this is where they come in.

AI credits are used when you use Encrisoft’s AI features to generate courses for your organisation.

Think of your AI credits as an allowance for using Encrisoft’s AI-powered course-generation features. Instead of having a separate AI subscription, your AI credits are included as part of your Encrisoft subscription.

So, when you create courses with AI, your available credits are used along the way.

How many AI credits do you get?

Your Encrisoft subscription comes with 1,500 AI credits.

That means you have 1,500 credits available to use for AI course generation during your subscription period.

You don’t need to purchase these credits separately when you subscribe. They are included with your subscription.

You can also keep track of your remaining credits from the Billing section, so you know how much of your allowance you have left.

Good to know: AI credits are included with your subscription. They are not a separate subscription or a separate monthly plan.

What can you use AI credits for?

How do AI credits work?

Your subscription gives you a set amount of AI credits to work with.

You start with 1,500 credits, and your available balance decreases as you use the AI course-generation features.

You can check your remaining balance from the AI credits section in Billing.

For example, if your Billing page shows that you have 800 credits left, you know that you have used some of your original allowance and have 800 credits remaining for future AI course generation.

The important thing to remember is simple:

More AI usage means fewer credits remaining.

So, if you’re creating several courses, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on your balance.

Where can you check your AI credits?

You don’t have to wonder how many credits you have left.

You can check them directly from your Encrisoft Billing area.

1. Open Billing

Sign in to your Encrisoft account and select Billing from the left-hand menu.

2. Check your AI credits

On the Billing page, you’ll see the AI credits section showing your current credit balance.

You can also select AI Credits from the tabs at the top of the Billing page to access the AI credit area.

What happens when you run out of AI credits?

This is where things get interesting, because reaching zero doesn’t mean you need to start all over again.

If you use all your 1,500 AI credits before the monthly reset, you have two options.

Option 1: Top up your credits

Need to keep creating courses before the next reset?

You can top up your AI credits so you can continue using the AI course-generation features instead of waiting.

Option 2: Wait for your credits to reset

If you don’t need more credits immediately, you can simply wait for the next reset.

Your AI credits will reset the following month, and you’ll receive 1,500 AI credits again as part of your subscription.

So, running out of credits is not the end of the road. You can either top up and keep going or wait for your next reset.

Do AI credits cost extra?

No separate subscription is required for your included AI credits.

Your 1,500 AI credits are included with your Encrisoft subscription.

If you use all of them before the next reset and need more immediately, you can choose to top up your credits. Otherwise, you can wait until the next monthly reset.

This means your normal Encrisoft subscription already gives you access to your included AI credit allowance.

AI credits and your subscription

Your Encrisoft subscription gives you access to your plan and its features.

And there’s one more thing to keep in mind: your seats and AI credits do different jobs.

So, adding more employees does not mean you automatically use more seats from your AI credits, and using AI to create courses does not take away an employee seat. They serve completely different purposes.
